Synopsis (EN)
It’s a gloomy Sunday in the small flat where 14-year-old Emma lives with her mother Hélène. Full of rejection and resentment towards Hélène, Emma projects the image of the ideal mother onto her other mother, who lives far away and whom she sees very little of. But an argument with Hélène forces Emma to question this reassuring duality… As it forces Hélène to face up to her own contradictions. They find themselves thrown into a confrontation of feelings that they are not (or no longer) used to, and where they awkwardly begin to search for a common path.

Un dimanche maussade dans le petit appartement où Emma, 14 ans, vit avec sa mère Hélène. Pleine de rejet et de rancœur envers Hélène, Emma projette l’image de la maman idéale sur son autre mère, qui vit loin et qu’elle voit très peu. Mais une dispute avec Hélène va forcer Emma à remettre en question cette dualité rassurante… Et mettre Hélène face à ses propres contradictions. Elles se retrouvent projetées dans une mise à nu de sentiments dont elles n’ont pas (ou plus) l’habitude, et où elles se mettent maladroitement à chercher un chemin commun.
